Vanessa Corrigall is a Canadian artist whose work explores the interplay of light, movement, and perception beneath the water’s surface. Her paintings capture the way water distorts and transforms the human form, creating a sense of both tranquility and abstraction. A lifelong swimmer, she draws inspiration from the meditative experience of being submerged—where breath, movement, and stillness coexist.

Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alberta and a Visual Arts Diploma from Grant MacEwan University. Her work is sought after by collectors who are drawn to themes of water, wellness, and the beauty of physical movement.

In addition to her art practice, Vanessa has spent over a decade teaching high school art on a reserve, encouraging young artists to explore storytelling through visual expression. She is also committed to giving back, donating 5% of all sales to the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental well-being.

From her studio in Leduc, Vanessa continues to create work that invites viewers to step into a world of reflection, weightlessness, and quiet serenity.
